從台灣到聯合國 台青年參加世台實習計畫連結國際
2026年夏季，1位國立臺灣大學國際引路人計畫（NTU IMP）學生參與世台聯合基金會（STUF United Fund）「青年領袖培力實習計畫」，與另外3位青年一同在紐約展開為期9週的國際實習。透過參與聯合國相關活動、NGO工作、社區研究及六大領域的學習，青年們深入認識聯合國、永續發展與國際參與，累積寶貴的國際實務經驗。
世台聯合基金會長期投入公益及聯合國相關工作，並具有聯合國經濟及社會理事會（UN ECOSOC）諮詢地位，同時也是聯合國全球盟約（UNGC）會員。透過「青年領袖培力實習計畫」，基金會為大學生、研究生及青年專業人士提供探索國際議題的機會，並透過非營利組織及NGO實務經驗，拓展青年國際視野。
此次實習也讓青年看見，國際參與不只侷限於外交或國際政治，法律、城市政策、社區發展及醫療科技等不同專業，同樣能與全球議題產生連結，並創造具體的社會影響力。
8月20日，世台聯合基金會於紐約曼哈頓辦公室舉行結業典禮暨成果發表會。基金會董事長陳秋貴，以及駐紐約臺北經濟文化辦事處、紐約華僑文教服務中心代表等貴賓出席活動，與青年們一同慶祝9週國際學習旅程的圓滿完成。
In summer 2026, an NTU IMP student participated in the STUF United Fund’s Youth Leadership Development Internship Program, joining three other young participants for a nine-week international internship in New York. Through UN-related activities, NGO work, community research, and six areas of learning, the participants gained firsthand experience with the United Nations, sustainable development, and global engagement.
The STUF United Fund, an organization committed to charitable initiatives and UN engagement, holds consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC) and is a member of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). The program provides university students, graduate students, and young professionals with opportunities to explore international issues and gain practical experience in nonprofit and NGO settings.
The internship also highlighted that global engagement extends beyond diplomacy and international politics. Through fields such as law, urban policy, community development, and healthcare technology, young people can connect their professional expertise with global challenges and create meaningful social impact.
The program concluded on August 20 with a graduation ceremony and final presentation at the STUF United Fund’s Manhattan office. Chairman Chen Chiu-kuei, along with representatives from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Service Center, joined the participants in celebrating the completion of their nine-week international learning journey.
