臺大國際處攜手引水人計畫夥伴日本保聖那集團（Pasona Group），舉辦「2026淡路島地方創生見習團」，帶領13位臺大跨領域學生走進日本神話起源之島——淡路島，深入探索地方創生的實踐現場，了解企業如何串聯人才、科技與文化，打造人與土地共榮的永續發展模式。

在保聖那集團的安排下，同學們走訪多項地方創生據點，認識企業如何透過跨域合作推動區域發展。行程中，同學們了解保聖那集團與大阪大學合作開發的 Avatar 虛擬分身技術，體驗科技如何突破地域限制、拓展人才運用的可能性；也深入認識結合音樂展演的「Musical Island」計畫，以及匯聚全球青年投入地方發展的 Awaji Youth Federation（AYF），看見地方創生如何結合國際人才與創新思維，為島嶼注入新活力。
除了產業創新，團隊也從生活文化中感受淡路島與自然共生的理念。在由普立茲克建築獎得主坂茂設計的禪坊靖寧（Zenbo Seinei），同學們透過冥想、書法與禪坊料理體驗身心平衡的生活哲學；於 Pasona Challenge Farm 親手採收農作、製作午餐，認識永續農業與食農教育；並走訪由廢棄校舍活化而成的 Nojima Scuola，了解地方空間再生如何成為社區發展的新契機。
此外，透過淡路島「台南家（TAINAN HOUSE）」創辦人的分享，同學們深入了解臺日職場文化差異，以及企業投入地方後對社區帶來的影響。雖然原訂與大阪大學的實體交流因颱風改為線上進行，但雙方仍就地方創生與永續發展展開交流，促進跨國學習與經驗分享。
行程中，團隊亦走訪伊弉諾神宮、本福寺水御堂、二次元之森及淡路瓦工廠，從宗教文化、建築藝術到創意產業，認識淡路島如何融合歷史傳承與現代創新。此次見習不僅讓同學深入了解日本地方創生的實踐模式，更帶回兼具國際視野與在地關懷的寶貴經驗。

NTU Office of International Affairs (OIA), in collaboration with our Overseas Internship Program partner Pasona Group, hosted the 2026 Awaji Island Regional Revitalization Study Tour, leading 13 interdisciplinary students to Awaji Island to explore one of Japan's leading examples of regional revitalization and learn how talent, technology, and culture can work together to foster sustainable local development.
Throughout the program, students visited a range of Pasona Group initiatives that demonstrate innovative approaches to regional development. They explored the Avatar technology jointly developed with Osaka University, learned how the "Musical Island" initiative integrates music with local tourism, and discovered how the Awaji Youth Federation (AYF) attracts young talent from around the world to contribute to community revitalization.
Students also experienced Awaji Island's philosophy of living in harmony with nature through meditation, calligraphy, and Zen cuisine at Zenbo Seinei, sustainable farming activities at Pasona Challenge Farm, and a visit to Nojima Scuola, a former elementary school transformed into a vibrant community space. A sharing session with the founder of TAINAN HOUSE further provided insights into Taiwanese and Japanese workplace cultures and the social impact of corporate investment in rural communities. Although a typhoon prevented the planned in-person exchange with Osaka University, students continued the discussion online, exchanging ideas on regional revitalization and sustainability.
The itinerary also included visits to Izanagi Jingu, Honpukuji Water Temple, Nijigen no Mori, and a traditional Awaji roof tile factory, showcasing how the island successfully blends cultural heritage with contemporary innovation. Through this study tour, students gained valuable insights into Japan's regional revitalization strategies while broadening their international perspectives on sustainable community development.
