This workshop, Launching a Global Career: Skills and Strategies for Multinational Companies and International Organizations, is designed for students preparing for international internships and future global careers across multinational companies, international organizations, and the public sector.
The workshop explores how students can use internship experiences to build long-term career capital, develop a global professional mindset, and strengthen the skills expected in international working environments. Through a combination of presentations, discussion, and interactive group work, students will examine the differences between multinational and public-sector career pathways while reflecting on communication, cultural awareness, professionalism, and personal positioning in global contexts.
Students will also work in teams to analyze real-world international organization and multinational company case scenarios, develop practical recommendations, and present their ideas in a professional presentation format. The workshop concludes by connecting these experiences back to students’ upcoming internships and future career development.
A light lunch will be provided.
