The prestigious "PIEoneer Awards," often referred to as the "Oscars of International Education," recently held its awards ceremony in London, where National Taiwan University (NTU) made history by winning the top prize, the "PIEoneer of the Year" award, marking a first for Taiwan.
In addition to winning the top prize, NTU also secured victory in the "Employability International Impact Award" category. The awards ceremony took place on the evening of the 13th at the Guildhall in the City of London, gathering nearly 600 representatives from the education sector, related industries, and nonprofit organizations from various countries.
Launched in 2011 and based in the UK, PIE (Professionals in International Education) is a leading international education professional networking and media platform. In 2017, PIE established the "PIEoneer Awards," which features 20 categories this year, each with 6 to 9 nominees. The "PIEoneer of the Year" award, in particular, draws significant attention.
