Curious about how PASONA revitalizes Awaji Island, the birthplace of Japan? Join us as we unveil PASONA’s regional revitalization strategy!
In 2020, PASONA relocated its headquarters to Awaji Island, located in the eastern part of the Seto Inland Sea in Hyogo Prefecture. The company aims not only to create an “enriching lifestyle and diverse work styles” for its employees but to address societal issues through corporate initiatives. By developing activities related to culture, art, health, cuisine, and education, PASONA is accelerating the growth of various industries on the island, generating numerous job opportunities and attracting international talent.
In collaboration with PASONA, NTU will select students to participate in a 10-day traineeship on Awaji Island in January 2025. Students will observe and engage in various activities organized by PASONA on the island, visit sustainable architecture sites like the Honpukuji Temple– The Water Temple (Mizumido) and Zenbo Seinei, and work with the AI team to explore the core concept of PASONA’s Natureverse exhibit for the 2025 Osaka Expo. They will also have the opportunity to interact with international performers, experience theme parks such as Hello Kitty, and explore Kobe on the weekend.
