Taiwanese Female Entrepreneur Erika Janda Builds a Successful Business in the Czech Republic

Erika Janda, a Taiwanese entre[reneur, founded and runs a digital creative company called Grenade Castle in the Czech Republic with her husband in 2009. In addition to providing graphic design, product design, photography, and event planning, they also provide high-end technology services, including website development, app design, front-end and back-end management systems, 3D design, and AR/VR and AI technology applications.

In addition to the Czech Republic, they also operate in the European and American markets. Their well-known clients include the Czech National Symphony Orchestra (CNSO), Impact Metrics, Rentalit, Relodit, Supertalent, Bohemian Estates, Creative Dock, Prague Proms, Eurovent, MRstudios, Isotherm, PortalPRO, Systemair, Evia, STARLIT, and Hair@Home.

During the Covid period, Erika and the company faced severe challenges, but she demonstrated leadership and care. Even if employees needed help at home and could not work, they could still receive their full salary. She also introduced new systems, reducing 10% of the workforce, and the company grew against the trend by several times.

Erika's story is an inspiration to other Taiwanese women who want to start their own businesses. She shows that it is possible to be successful in a foreign country, even in the face of challenges. She is also a role model for women in leadership positions.
