Want to take your entrepreneurial journey to the next level? Eager to uncover the secrets behind the success of Japanese corporations? Join us in exploring Tokyo!
Just as humans strive for longevity, companies aspire for sustainability. In Japan, where people live long, corporations seem to possess a similar longevity gene. From Panasonic, Rakuten to JP Universe, the unique allure of Japanese companies is evident.
To broaden the international perspective of NTU System students and stimulate their entrepreneurial spirit, the Office of International Affairs, in collaboration with our partner startups SMS and Water Mirror, will be sending 30 NTU students to Japan for a six-day traineeship in January 2025. The program will offer in-depth exploration of multinational corporations, startups, century-old traditional industries, and social enterprises in Japan, allowing participants to learn about various business models and successful strategies. They will have the opportunity to engage in deep conversations with founders and senior executives from different industries. In addition to business learning, Judo gold medalist at the 2004 Athens Olympics, Keiji Suzuki, will share insights into Japanese culture and the spirit of Bushido, and a variety of cultural experience courses will provide participants with a deep understanding of Japanese culture.
We believe that students interested in corporate management, innovation, entrepreneurship, or those planning to seek employment in Japan will benefit greatly from this traineeship program.
