From capsule endoscopy to drip irrigation technology, from the Soda Stream soda maker to the website-building platform Wix.com, Israel's innovation can be seen everywhere.
In order to expand the international perspective of National Taiwan University students and stimulate their innovation abilities, the Office of International Affairs is collaborating with the Jeffrey D. Schwartz & NaTang Jewish Taiwan Cultural Association to send NTU students to Israel for a 12-day internship this summer. During their visit, students will have the opportunity to visit Israeli startups, engage in discussions with local universities, and experience Jewish culture.
Mr. Jeffrey D. Schwarz, the Chairman of the Jeffrey D. Schwartz & NaTang Jewish Taiwan Cultural Association, who has been deeply involved in Taiwan for over 50 years, promoting Israeli and Jewish culture, is providing accommodation, transportation, and most meals for all NTU students who join this study tour in Israel. We believe that students following in Jeffrey's footsteps, visiting various startups and cultural sites, will undoubtedly learn about Israel's spirit of innovation and have a deep experience of Jewish culture.
