traineeship Info

You will have the opportunity to join a 14-day traineeship in Tokyo as long as you can communicate in Japanese.

NTU OIA collaborates with ORIX Corporation, a diversified multinational financial group, to send NTU students to Tokyo for a traineeship in January, 2024. Students will learn at the Enterprise Risk Management Department, the Energy and Eco Services Business Headquarters, and the ORIX Asset Management Corporation (Real Estate Business) for 14 days, experiencing Japanese workplace and improving working skills. During the traineeship, ORIX will cover students’  plane ticket fees and accommodation fees.

ORIX has been established for almost 60 years, and its main businesses today fall into 10 segment categories, including corporate financial services, real estate, insurance, banking, environment and energy, aircraft and ships, etc. Furthermore, ORIX has become the new operating company of Kansai International Airport and Osaka (Itami) International Airport. The company has achieved continuous profitability for the past 57 years.

2024 NTU OIA – ORIX Traineeship

Program Eligibility:

  • Vacancies: 8
  • Students must have active NTU student status during the application period and the internship period.
  • Students must be:
  1. Undergraduate students (third year and above)
  2. Master students 
  3. Doctoral students

Traineeship Period: January 14th, 2024 to January 27th, 2024

Application Deadline: November 3rd, 2023

Fees:

  • Application Fee (non-refundable): NTD $1,000
  • Program Fee (non-refundable): NTD $5,000 (Once the students are admitted to this program, they will be charged NTD $5000 program fee to participate in this program.)
  • Round-way plane tickets and accommodation will be covered by ORIX. Other fees such as food and personal spending will be covered by students.

Others:

  • Japanese-Language Proficiency Certificate is a plus instead of a requirement. However, the interview will be conducted in Japanese.
