In the year 2026, our focused areas of research will include Basic Sciences, Engineering, and Biomedical research.
15-20 students
Students will be enrolled in the Non-Degree Visiting Student (NDVS) program. The estimated program cost, including tuition, fees, and housing, is approximately USD 6,500. NTU provides a subsidy of TWD 50,000, disbursed upon students’ return to Taiwan. The remaining expenses will be the responsibility of each student.

Open to undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students in the fields of Science, Engineering, and Biomedical.
Note: You must maintain an active student status from the time of application through the completion of the program.
For more information, please refer to the program website.
Reach out directly to a UChicago PI to confirm their willingness to supervise you for the program.
