Francis Avila joined ASUS Philippines in 2016 as Channel Sales Lead for Telco Channels and moved to Commercial Business as Lead in 2019. After 2 years, he became the Business Development Manager to takeover the whole Commercial business in-charge of the entire business operations. Prior to ASUS, he worked in Lazada Philippines, an Alibaba subsidiary for 1 year as Senior Manager for Brand Partnership. He also worked in Samsung Electronics Philippines as Assistant Channel Sales Manager, Canon Philippines as Corporate Sales Supervisor for Commercial Products and VST-ECS for 9 years in Product Management, Channel Sales and Sales Operation roles.
ASUS Philippines is a subsidiary of ASUS established in the country for over 15 years and a dedicated Commercial Business was established in 2019. The department started with 3 members and grew to 20 this year. The team is very young and dynamic but one thing in common, everyone is experienced in Corporate business in areas of Sales, Pre and Post-Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Distribution.
The intern will report directly to the Business Development Manager in a review and analysis capacity of the business operations and performance. The Management Associate will also be indirectly working with the Product Management Lead, Marketing Manager and Sales Leads to collect, review and analyze data in preparation to process improvement and operational changes.
