The WFA has an existing Social Media and Communication Plan to create awareness around conservation and the illegal wildlife trade. At the same time this is used to attract potential course participants as well as followers on social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook and Linkedin. Posts are done by means of captions with photos and reels as well as the appropriate hashtags. The WFA also has an existing website where SEO and AI need to be used as well as updates made available as courses and events development.
This internship entails assisting the WFA to create daily Social Media content in the form of posts and stories with captions, photos and video material. It also entails interns to follow the necessary communication guidelines and channels of the WFA. Furthermore, it entails updating the website and incorporating SEO and AI techniques to optimize traffic. Interns will be expected to visit various partner organizations and events of the WFA in order to create daily content.
From June 9 to August 31, 2025 (adjustable at the discretion of the organisation)
