Pam Ho has worked as consumer product manager at ASUS Philippines for 3 years, rotated to ASUS headquarters as market development manager in APAC, and then transferred to ASUS Japan as commercial product manager.
During 2019, ASUS Japan just restarted commercial business in Japan. With the teamwork and development of key projects, commercial notebook shipments in educational segment grew 10 times in 2020. After the foundation of education business was established, expanding the commercial business to other segments and have continuous shipment with stable growth since then.
Recently, one of the key accomplishments was achieving No.1 market share with 38% market share for commercial Chromebook for the past 4 quarters based on IDC data.
ASUS Japan's sales department is dedicated to driving sales and promoting the ASUS brand in the Japanese market. We collaborate closely with local partners and customers to understand their needs and deliver innovative technology solutions. We focus on building strong relationships, executing effective marketing strategies, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure ASUS's continued success in Japan.
This position requires a diverse skill set, including market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities, brand management to maintain a strong brand image, inventory and supply chain management to ensure efficient product distribution, product portfolio planning and execution to optimize product offerings, and partner and media education to effectively communicate product benefits.
