After arriving in Montpellier, I gradually adapted to the new time zone and longer daylight hours, which helped improve my sleep compared to Paris and Grenoble. Life here is more relaxed, with a slower pace and extended lunch breaks. My routine consists of commuting between IPSiM and SupAgro for research. Outside of work, I often visit local supermarkets and enjoy the peaceful, laid-back atmosphere, a refreshing change from the hectic life in Taipei. My research focuses on plant reproductive biology, particularly the genetic regulation of pollen development under stress conditions. The balance here has given me a sense of calm and focus.
