Bachelor in Entomology
These months of being in South Africa will forever be remembered, especially the time we have spent with organizations like Nature Connect, Cape of Good Hope SPCA and Two-Ocean Aquarium. We have been sent to go on missions like bird survey, local species re-introduction, animal release, and rehabilitated animals transfer as well as doing husbandry work for animals like sea turtle, baboon, eagle, owl, sparrow, Guinea pig, Pet rat, Fur seal, and even pigeon. The work we have done allowed us to re-enforce what we have learned in school and see the importance of the most basic caring for the animals that have been forced out of their nature habitat by human. Making sure these wild lives have been taken care of is of great value to the local communities and the animal lovers.
