During my experiments, I encountered many failures, such as low PCR product yield, extremely low concentration after gel purification, and multiple failures with T4 ligase…and so on. However, each time I faced failure, I tried to think about which step in the experimental process might have gone wrong or how I could change any steps to find the problems and overcome the difficulties. No matter when I had the problems with my experiments, my mentors and many senior students provided me with a lot of assistance, helping me to clarify the problems and solve them with the appropriate ways. Still, I couldn’t believe that how lucky I am that could have the opportunity to have the internship in these two laboratories.
