To prepare students for the practical and mental demands of overseas workplaces, NTU OIA has organized courses led by experienced former managers and a selection of eight LinkedIn Learning courses.Students admitted to the 2025 Overseas Internship Program must complete training courses before departing for their internships. The course requirements are as follows:

Course List:

  • Required in-person courses (實體必修):

  2. 海外職場準備 Overseas Workplace Preparation
  • Required online course (線上必修):
  1. 職場健康與安全 Preventing Harassment in the Workplace (2018)
  • Elective online courses (線上選修) (Select 1 of the 3):
  1. 職場人際互動 How to Develop Friendships and Connect Meaningfully with Work Colleagues
  2. 語言表達力 Micro-Presentations: Saying More in Less Time: Why develop a micro-presentation?
  3. 自我效能與工作適應 Developing Adaptable Employees
  • Online make-up courses (線上補選修) (1required in-person course=2 online make-up courses):
  1. 職場禮儀與倫理 Business Etiquette for the Modern Workplace: Defining business etiquette Introduction
  2. 時間管理 Finding Your Time Management Style
  3. 跨文化溝通 Unlocking Authentic Communication in a Culturally-Diverse Workplace
  4. 商業書信 Business Etiquette: Phone, Email, and Text

Course Requirements:

  • Two Required In-Person Courses: Students must attend these courses at the designated time and location. If unable to attend, students must complete two online make-up elective courses for each missed in-person course.
  • Required Online Course: Students must complete the online course titled "Preventing Harassment in the Workplace (2018)".
  • One Required Online Elective Course: Students must complete one online elective course of their choice.

課程規定:

  • 須於上課時間至指定場所參加2堂實體必修課,若任1堂無法親自至現場上課則須以2堂線上補選修課程代替。
  • 須完成線上必修課。
  • 須完成任1堂線上選修課。
