Thaiwan Social Space is a dynamic cultural space bridging Taiwan and Thailand located in Bangkok. It is dedicated to promoting diversity, inclusion, and sustainable development through cultural co-creation between the two countries. The venue hopes to showcase Taiwan’s beauty to the world and become a driving force for long-term global influence.
Thaiwan is operated by Hanji Thai Co., LTD. The company traces its roots back to Taiwan, where it originated as Kasser Integrated Marketing Co., Ltd., which has been operating for over 17 years, including its initial two years as a studio. Kasser developed deep expertise in digital marketing, brand strategy, event planning, and platform system development.
In 2019, the company expanded its operations beyond Taiwan by co-founding CiRCLELiNKS and establishing Hanji Thai Co., LTD. in Thailand. Building on this international foundation, the team launched Thaiwan in 2022 to function as a flexible, physical space combining a brand experience venue, café, gallery, and open space.
The company's nearly two decades of experience have developed core capabilities essential for this project: brand marketing, cross-industry collaboration, and project management. These skills, coupled with the ability to identify market opportunities and integrate resources, allow Thaiwan to function effectively as a cultural connection point between Taiwan and Thailand.
After 17 years of operation in Taiwan, in 2022 we launched Thaiwan, a cross-cultural creative venue located in the heart of Bangkok’s Sukhumvit district. Combining a brand experience venue, café, gallery, and open space, Thaiwan integrates the concepts of cross-border, cross-cultural, and diverse collaboration into our daily operations.
Thaiwan is our first social space in Thailand where everyone can experience Taiwanese culture. We offer services such as market research, market testing, business development support, and other local supports for Taiwanese companies that hope to explore the Thai market. At Thaiwan, we also curate events on various topics, including Taiwanese culture, placemaking, and ESG, to connect Taiwan and Thailand and create meaningful connections.
Starting with zero experience and no local network, we built our business from the ground up—developing the brand, integrating resources, forging partnerships, and expanding market reach across the entire island of Taiwan. These 17 years of experience have not only honed our skills in brand marketing, cross-industry collaboration, and project management, but have also cultivated our ability to spot market opportunities, integrate resources, and take swift action. These capabilities have become the foundation for our venture into Thailand.
Thaiwan has become a cultural bridge between Taiwan and Thailand, promoting diversity, inclusion, and sustainable development. Through cultural co-creation between the two countries, we hope to showcase Taiwan’s beauty to the world and become a driving force for long-term global influence.
