Brief Introduction of the Department

Impact Hub Phnom Penh’s Communications Department is a core engine within the organization. Deeply integrated with our various program departments, members of the Communications team are responsible for telling the story of Impact Hub Phnom Penh and of our remarkable community of 1,500+ impact makers across Cambodia. Since our founding in 2015, Impact Hub Phnom Penh has become one of the most well-known organizations locally, and one of the strongest voices for entrepreneurship development in Cambodia. Our alumni community is known as the “who’s who” of inspiring local innovators. This position in the ecosystem has been built thanks to the impact of our programs and to storytelling and creative communications. As Impact Hub Phnom Penh celebrates our 10-year anniversary in 2015, we are looking to re-energize and strengthen our communications strategy and level-up our storytelling, production, multimedia communications, and visibility so that we can continue showcasing the innovations and impact makers that are driving Cambodia’social and economic progress.

Do you have skills in video production and graphic design? And finally… are you ready to make an impact and support social entrepreneurship in Cambodia?

Preferred Intern Education Level

Undergraduate students

Preferred Intern Skill Sets or Qualities

Skills in video production (filming, editing); experience using video editing software (e.g.,Capcut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar programs)
Skills in graphic design (e.g., layout of written documents/reports; design of social media graphics; design of infographics)
Proficiency in spoken and written English (the internship will be conducted entirely in English)
Experience and strong interest in communications, especially in the social impact sector
High degree of initiative; ability to work independently and be self-directed in a flexible work environment

It offers market entry support, including due diligence, strategic planning, and local market insights. The department facilitates global partnership building by connecting clients with investors, industry experts, and stakeholders through Impact Hub’s global network across 70+ countries.

It provides commercialization consulting, focusing on legal, financial, and operational frameworks for scaling globally. The department manages translocal programs, especially in sectors like AgriTech and ClimateTech, and offers dual hub memberships for cross-border collaboration. Through strategic collaborations with international organizations, it drives mutual growth and social impact.
