One Young World is a global force dedicated to building a fair andsustainable future.
We develop the world’s most impactful young leaders - from every country, and every sector - to tackle the biggest issues facing humanity. World peace and prosperity depend on our leaders being held accountable, doing more, and doing better for every community and ecosystem on our planet. That is what our community of 18,700+ Ambassadors - or young leaders - work to do across all SDGs.
Our 2024/25 Impact Report shows that we reached over 8.1 million people, and that Ambassador-led projects generated $747,305,118 in social value.
Together we are activists, humanitarians, world-leaders, business-leaders,thought-leaders, entrepreneurs, politicians and innovators. And we are united by our belief that every challenge has a solution, if we are bold enough to take action, even when the odds feel stacked against us.
One Young World partners with over 190 global organisations, NGOs,governments and educational institutions - boasting the largest corporate footprint in its sector.
One Young World, a UK-based charity, harnesses the power of young leaders worldwide to drive positive change. Primarily, the Partnerships Team at One Young World focuses on fostering alliances with corporations that share the charity's commitment to addressing global issues, empowering youth leadership, and effecting positive social impact. Their responsibilities might include identifying potential corporate partners whose values and goals align with One Young World's ethos. This involves extensive research, networking, and relationship-building to establish collaborations that benefit both parties.
Moreover, the team negotiates partnership agreements, outlining mutual responsibilities, objectives, and expectations. They cultivate and maintain these relationships, ensuring that they contribute meaningfully to the charity's initiatives, whether through funding, mentorship programs, or resource-sharing.
The Partnerships Team also works closely with internal stakeholders, such as program managers and communication specialists, to coordinate joint initiatives, maximize the impact of partnerships, and align strategies for achieving shared goals.
Ultimately, the Partnerships team serves as a bridge between the charity and corporate entities, facilitating collaborations that empower young leaders, drive social change, and amplify the organization's efforts in making a positive global impact.
At the heart of every global threat is a failure of leadership. This new generation is the most informed, most educated, most connected generation in human history. One Young World identifies, promotes and connects the world’s most impactful young leaders to create a better world, with more responsible, more effective, leadership.
The annual One Young World Summit convenes the brightest young talent from every country and sector, working to accelerate social impact. Delegates from 190+ countries are counselled by influential political, business and humanitarian leaders such as Justin Trudeau, Paul Polman and Meghan Markle, amongst many other global figures.
Delegates participate in four transformative days of speeches, panels, networking and workshops. All delegates have the opportunity to apply to give keynote speeches, sharing a platform with world leaders, with the world’s media in attendance. The agenda is shaped by the One Young World Community through the Global Consultation Process, ensuring maximum relevance to the issues affecting young people. As well as listening to keynote speakers, delegates have the opportunity to challenge, interact with, and be mentored by, world leaders. Delegates make lasting connections throughout the Summit, celebrating their participation at social events and the event's always-memorable Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
