【研究實習計畫】

研究內容簡介：專注於結合學習與互動的機器人研究，探索如何讓機器人在複雜環境中進行決策與互動

期待學生教育程度：

• 大三（含）以上大學生
• 碩士生
• 博士生

期待學生技能與特質：

• 對體現智慧 (Embodied AI) 或機器人具有強烈好奇心與興趣
• 具備AI決策相關知識，例如：規劃、馬可夫決策過程(MDPs)或強化學習(RL)
• 具備機器學習工具箱使用經驗，如PyTorch與Hugging Face

其他要求：具備能夠以英文進行口頭研究討論的能力

可接受期長：暑期，典型時長為12週（經討論可延長）

接受名額：2名

簽證文件辦理

• 由 PI 透過國際處申請，時長約 1-2 個月
• 學校使用J1 Visiting Student簽證

相關費用：

• PI負擔簽證服務費用
• 住宿由學生自行尋覓（無補助），但暑假期間可申請校內自費宿舍

[ Research Internship Program ]

Research Overview: The lab focuses on integrating learning and interaction in robotics, exploring how robots can make decisions and interact effectively in complex environments.

Target Student Level:

• Undergraduate students (junior year and above)
• Master’s students
• Ph.D. students

Expected Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong curiosity and interest in Embodied AI or robotics
• Knowledge of AI decision-making concepts, such as planning, Markov Decision Processes (MDPs), or reinforcement learning (RL)
• Experience using machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and Hugging Face

Additional Requirement: Ability to participate in oral researchdiscussions in English

Available Duration: Summeror; typical duration is 12 weeks (extendable upon discussion)

Visa Processing:

• Application handled by the PI through the International Studies Office; estimated processing time is 1-2 months
• The university uses the J-1 Visiting Student visa

Costs:

• The PI will cover visa processing fees
• Students are responsible for arranging their own accommodation (no subsidy provided); however, paid on-campus housing may be available during the summer

Academic Credit: Not offered
