Anne Chen is a business and technology executive who led a 34-year international career of outstanding track record. She was responsible for all facets of the business ranging from $1 billion deal negotiation to $3 billion P&L and managed large global organizations and projects with diverse leadership assignments in sales, operations, finance, services delivery, and supply chain management. Before her retirement in 2021, Anne was Chief Operating Officer of IBM Greater China Group leading the transformation of sales strategy and operations reform. She was General Manager of IBM Global Technology Services in Taiwan and Hong Kong when she drove growth in revenue, market share, and client base. Prior to her assignment in the greater China region, she was Chief Operating Officer of IBM Asia Pacific Solution Hub in Singapore managing $12 billion deal transactions. Before moving to Asia, Anne was Vice President of Global Transition and Delivery of IBM BPO based in New York where she led an organization of 6,000 practitioners in 15 global centers driving cost optimization for 80 F500 clients worldwide. Throughout her career Anne has been working at the forefront of globalization evolution - 'she has lived and worked in USA for 20 years and spent the other 14 years in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan. She takes pride in leading talent development at local and global levels and has built her reputation as the go-to leader for cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary initiatives. Anne is married with two daughters; she is an avid reader, traveler, and an enthusiastic sports fan.
