Beyond the annual festival, Fourseas operates within Koza Startup Arcade (KSA) — a startup hub that has transformed Okinawa City’s Koza district from a quiet shopping street into a thriving base for new businesses. The Fourseas team supports both overseas startups entering Okinawa and Okinawan startups expanding internationally, offering assistance in business matching, market research, and pilot projects.
Fourseas also collaborates closely with local governments, universities, and corporations to design programs that accelerate regional innovation. Its work spans a wide range of sectors — from technology and sustainability to tourism and education — all rooted in Okinawa’s identity as a crossroads between Japan and Asia. By fostering cross-border partnerships and nurturing early-stage founders, Fourseas is building a sustainable ecosystem where local creativity meets global opportunity.
We are seeking an intern to join the Fourseas team in supporting the Taiwan Pavilion and international partnership programs for the upcoming Kozarocks event. In last year’s edition, Taiwanese startups, venture capital firms, and corporates actively participated, creating strong momentum for cross-border collaboration. Building on this success, the intern will help coordinate next year’s delegation and enhance business matchmaking between Okinawa-based companies and Taiwanese startups.
Key responsibilities include assisting with event planning and logistics, preparing presentation and promotional materials, managing communication between Japanese and Taiwanese partners, and supporting research on participating startups and industries. The intern will work closely with the Fourseas and Koza Startup Arcade teams to ensure smooth coordination of the Taiwan Pavilion and related networking sessions.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international startup ecosystem building, event operations, and business development in one of Japan’s most dynamic regional innovation hubs — Okinawa.
