Dr. Ching-Yun Ko (Irene) is a research scientist at IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center, Yorktown Heights, NY, USA. Her research focuses primarily on trustworthy machine learning. Dr. Ko has published papers in esteemed AI/ML conferences, including ICML, NeurIPS, IROS, COLM, IJCAI, and AAAI, where she has given talks and often served as a program committee member or a reviewer. Her research also extends to efficient scientific computing, in which she has authored papers in renowned journals and conferences such as Automatica, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, and IEEE Conference on Decision and Control. Dr. Ko also serves as a reviewer for multiple journals, including Neural Network, Neurocomputing, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, and IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing.
