PERSONAL BIO

Iveta Vancáková is a prominent professional in the field of Human Rights. Thanks to a degree in Economics from the Banska University in Ostrava, she has a solid foundation in economics and valuable insight into her work in the field of Human Rights. As the Director of the Forum For Human Rights (FFHR), founded in 2019, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to the organization's mission of promoting Human Rights and democracy. Under her leadership, the organization achieved significant progress in the defense and protection of human rights not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad.

In addition to her role in FFHR, Iveta Vancáková also acts as Policy coordinator for V4 countries for the World Uyghur Congress (WUC – umbrella organisation). As a coordinator, she oversees and coordinates WUC's efforts to raise awareness and promote change at the global level. In 2019, FFHR organized and coordinated the WUC's annual meeting in Prague, which testifies to its key position in the struggle for the Human Rights of the Uyghurs and the preservation of their culture.

Iveta Vancáková also coordinated the project in cooperation with the Prague Security Studies Institute (PSSI), a leading think tank focused on global security issues and policy solutions. In this function coordinated the project "Capital Market Dimensions of Forced Labor Trafficking"
