Juyun is a public affairs and strategic communications professional with history of working both in-house and as an external consultant. She is experienced in implementing public affairs projects across fields such as intellectual property, internet technology, software, environment, and energy. Since COVID-19 outbreak, she has been heavily involved in global health issue and provided policy consultation to leading domestic and international partners to combat the pandemic.
Before joining GR Korea, Juyun was a policy analyst for Korea’s dominant telecommunication company, KT, and served as an aide to a very senior member of Cabinet and the National Assembly.

At GR Korea, the intern will support the teams of consultants at various sectors, including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, energy, environment, AI and advanced technology, and consumer goods. Teamed together with the seasoned experts, the intern will experience a full range of government relations, public affairs, and related services, including stakeholder and issue mapping, strategy development, narrative crafting, outreach support, and timely intelligence-gathering.
GR Korea is looking for an intern with demonstrated passion for public policy and politics, with a high-proficiency in English (TOEFL 110 or above) and preferably with some fluency in conversational Korean. S/he is expected to thrive in fast-paced, team-centred working environment, being willing and able to learn fast to help the team deliver professional materials about the complex and swiftly changing policy/political landscape of Korea and Taiwan.
Job descriptions:
- Conduct research on public policy, regulations, and key government stakeholders
- Draft and edit policy-related deliverables (Word, PPT) – issue & stakeholder mapping reports, engagement strategy documents, advocacy materials, and reference materials
- Monitor the latest policy and political developments related to the clients’ goals
- Assist translation of client-related documents
- Support the team in delivering client satisfaction (ad-hoc research, etc.)
