Miho Ambiru is an educator and entrepreneur with a deep passion for language, culture, and supporting students in their global journeys. She holds the position of director at Dash co., ltd. Furthermore, in 2010, she founded the Taiwan Study Support Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting Japanese high school students in exploring higher education opportunities in Taiwan. Through this role, she has visited numerous schools across Japan, delivered presentations and seminars, and provided guidance to both students and their families.
In 2019, Ms. Ambiru established Hawaii AM Holdings Inc. in Honolulu, Hawaii, with two other companies as its members. This venture focuses on connecting property owners and guests from around the world, facilitating the management of vacation rentals and ensuring smooth, comfortable stays.
Currently, she also serves as an instructor at Shih Chien University in Taiwan, where she leads a class titled “Global Culture and Communication,” primarily conducted in Japanese. She finds great pleasure in sharing insights into Japanese culture and fostering mutual understanding among international students. Her past experience includes teaching English and science at Tokyo Chinese School, which broadened her appreciation for cross-disciplinary education.
Ms. Ambiru holds a Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language from National Taiwan Normal University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Technology from National Taiwan University. A native speaker of Japanese, she is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English. She genuinely enjoys working in multicultural environments where she can facilitate connection, growth, and learning among individuals. She is honored to serve as a mentor and looks forward to connecting with everyone.

Do you love teaching? Welcome to the Teaching Department of Dash Co., Ltd. We are a team full of individuals who are passionate about teaching and Taiwanese culture. Our main focus is on teaching Japanese high school students who aim to study in Taiwan. We not only teach Mandarin and English but also provide them with knowledge related to Taiwanese culture. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to live with Japanese students, which is a unique experience. This job is not as easy as it may seem, but it is highly meaningful. If you are interested in teaching and want to become a bridge for cultural exchange between Taiwan and Japan, we welcome enthusiastic individuals like you to join our program!
As an intern in this organization, your role will be that of an assistant teacher. Your main responsibility will be to assist the teachers in their instruction, and you may even have the opportunity to stand at the podium or teach online. In addition to teaching, we will also provide you with opportunities to practice developing teaching materials and even plan special courses. This internship will help you learn how to become a competent Mandarin (or English) teacher. Furthermore, we will be organizing summer camps and you will be involved in hosting activities related to Taiwanese culture. It is important that you have a certain level of computer proficiency. In terms of language, in addition to Chinese, you will need to have a certain level of proficiency in spoken English or Japanese in order to excel in this position.
