Pavel Diviš is a Czech industrial entrepreneur and international business leader with more than 35 years of experience in advanced manufacturing and technology transfer. As CEO of TGS nástroje – stroje – technologické služby, which he founded in 1990, he has built one of the Czech Republic’s most trusted engineering technology firms. From its beginnings as a small family company importing high-precision Swiss tools, TGS has grown into a comprehensive provider of turnkey industrial technologies, combining machining expertise, equipment integration, and tailored technical services for clients across Central Europe.
Beyond his corporate leadership, Mr Diviš plays a key role in fostering Czech–Taiwan relations. In 2017, he co-founded the Czech-Taiwanese Business Chamber (CTBC) and has since served as its Chair. Having travelled to Taiwan for more than three decades, he has been instrumental in strengthening cooperation between Czech and Taiwanese industries—particularly in innovation, engineering, and technology. He led business delegations accompanying the official visits of Senate President Miloš Vystrčil (2020) and Chamber of Deputies Speaker Markéta Pekarová Adamová (2023), deepening economic and diplomatic ties between the two partners.
Mr Diviš began his career at ČKD Hradec Králové, gaining hands-on production experience during the final years of the socialist industrial era, and later completed a professional internship with a Belgian engineering company. His career reflects a lifelong commitment to combining craftsmanship, technological progress, and international collaboration.
The Technical Department at TGS develops and implements complete engineering solutions for the manufacturing industry. Its activities include the design of production technologies, tooling, and clamping fixtures, as well as automation of machining processes and integration of machines and systems. The team also provides measurement and metrology services, prototype production and testing, and machine diagnostics to ensure accuracy and reliability in manufacturing operations. In addition, the department conducts operator training, combining theoretical instruction with hands-on experience to help clients apply TGS technologies effectively and safely.
