Roman studied Electrical Engineering and Informatics at the Brno University of Technology. After graduating, he began his career as a Test Engineer at Inventec before joining Wistron two years later as a Process Manufacturing Engineer in Design Transfer (PME DT). With his deep knowledge, hands-on experience, and determination, Roman steadily grew into his current role as Deputy Plant Manager, where he leads the Engineering and Product Management Department. Beyond his professional achievements, Roman is valued as a dynamic and approachable manager, always ready to share his expertise and lend a helping hand to new colleagues
The Engineering & Product Management Department is responsible for all new product introduction activities and the implementation of product changes, with the overarching goal of ensuring customer satisfaction. The department is structured into dedicated teams that support key clients, including Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, and Fujitsu. Within these teams are NPI Engineers, who oversee new product introductions, and Industrial Engineers, who manage the entire production process. The department also includes Test Engineers and Test Technicians. Test Engineers handle the end-to-end testing process, while Test Technicians monitor testing, make initial assessments of failures, and resolve firmware or testing issues in close collaboration with the Test Engineers.
