
Yannick Dietz moved to Massachusetts, USA, after high school to take part in a volunteer program in mental health services. He later returned to Germany to pursue his long-held ambition of studying Japanese, completing study-abroad programs at Kobe University as an undergraduate and Osaka City University during graduate school.
After finishing his studies, he joined the JET Programme as a Coordinator for International Relations at a city hall in Niigata, Japan, where he coordinated the Tokyo 2020 Olympic & Paralympic Host Town partnership with German Olympic athletes. Following three years in Niigata, he joined Pasona Group on Awaji Island.
Our mission is to globalize Awaji Island by collaborating with international organizations, universities, and other partners, attracting not only tourists but also students and educators from around the world. The division consists of about four members, including foreign nationals. We manage a wide range of diverse projects that involve close cooperation with various internal departments and external agencies.

The Digital Marketing Division manages social media accounts for the Awaji Island Resort and various Pasona Group companies. In addition to creating promotional images and videos for social media channels, the team produces multilingual blog posts about travel in Japan and collaborates with international influencers to expand content reach.
