The Finance & Treasury Department plays a key role in supporting the company’s financial management, funding requirements, and long-term business sustainability. The team works closely with management, operational teams, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders to ensure that the company maintains sufficient liquidity and meets its financial obligations. Its responsibilities include managing banking and lender relationships, monitoring loan facilities and debt repayment schedules, preparing cash flow and financial forecasts, monitoring financial covenants, and supporting financing and refinancing activities.
The intern will support the Finance & Treasury team in selected activities related to corporate financing, loan management, financial forecasting, and lender communication. The intern will gain practical exposure to how a large industrial project is financed and how financing arrangements are managed after the project enters operation. Key activities may include assisting in monitoring loan facilities, debt repayment schedules, interest payments, financial covenants, and other financing requirements; supporting the preparation and analysis of cash flow and financial forecasts; and analyzing how changes in operational and commercial assumptions may affect the company’s liquidity and debt-servicing capability. The intern may also support the preparation of financial information, presentations, and analysis for discussions with banks, lenders, management, and other external stakeholders. Through the internship, the student will gain exposure and learn how finance interacts with engineering, operations, commercial activities, and strategic decision-making in a real industrial business

The Sales & Commercial Department is responsible for connecting the company’s production with international markets and ensuring that products are sold under competitive and commercially attractive terms. The team works closely with production, finance, logistics, and management to develop sales strategies based on production availability, product specifications, market conditions, and customer requirements. Key responsibilities include monitoring nickel and commodity market developments, conducting market and competitor analysis, evaluating the optimal product and sales mix, identifying potential customers and offtakers, and supporting price and commercial negotiations. The department also manages relationships with international buyers and trading companies, coordinates commercial terms for sales contracts, and works with logistics and other internal teams to ensure successful product delivery.
The intern will support the Sales & Commercial team in analyzing nickel market developments and evaluating commercial opportunities for the company’s products. The intern will gain practical exposure to how industrial commodities are marketed, priced, negotiated, and sold to international customers. Key activities may include conducting market and competitor analysis, monitoring nickel prices and industry developments, and assessing market trends that may affect product demand and commercial strategy. The intern may also support product mix analysis by evaluating different product alternatives, customer requirements, product specifications, pricing, and commercial economics to understand how the company can maximize the value of its production. In addition, the intern will have exposure to the commercial negotiation process, including preparing analysis and materials for discussions with potential buyers and offtakers, understanding key commercial terms, and supporting customer and market engagement.
