My internship at Impact Hub Hyderabad lasted twelve weeks and involved research, event participation, and cross-cultural exchange. I learned about startup ecosystems in Taiwan and Hyderabad, explored collaboration opportunities, and attended events like the Impact Harvest Forum. I visited organizations supporting women entrepreneurs and joined a work trip to universities in Vijayawada and Tirupati. I also traveled solo to several Indian cities, experiencing the country’s cultural diversity. The work culture was flexible but sometimes unpredictable, with casual dress and last-minute meetings. I noticed differences like gender segregation at security checks and price variations for foreigners at tourist sites. Through these experiences, I gained practical research skills and deeper cross-cultural understanding. I contributed reports on startup ecosystems and suggested collaboration possibilities between Taiwan and India. Overall, this internship strengthened my interest in international collaboration and gave me valuable insights for my future academic and professional goals.
