Bachelor in International Business
My internship at ASUS Indonesia’s Commercial Department was a transformative experience that gave me valuable exposure to product strategy, data analysis, channel operations, and launching commercial laptop products in Southeast Asia. Over 12 weeks, I supported product planning, pricing strategy, and market readiness execution. I conducted competition mapping analysis for the B-series laptop lineup and developed a “Hero Model” mapping to highlight key configuration trends. I also worked on the B3 Pricing Study, analyzing CPU and price band relationships using historic sell-out data, which informed product discontinuation decisions. Additionally, I managed operational reporting tasks like compiling sales reports and updating distribution lists. The internship deepened my appreciation for Indonesian work culture and cross-cultural teamwork. Moreover, I also learned that data alone is not enough, and local market rhythm matters. I was encouraged to be proactive and propose solutions. Overall, this internship equipped me with hands-on knowledge of global product strategy localization and strengthened my passion for product management and regional strategy roles.
