Bachelor in Political Science
Throughout my internship at Asia Centre in Bangkok, I worked mainly with the Programme Team on projects like GGGI, DST, and the 10th Conference. My tasks included simplifying technical content, designing training materials, and assisting with conference preparation. I learned to communicate complex ideas clearly and adapt content for different cultural contexts. The fast-paced NGO environment helped me improve time management, teamwork, and intercultural communication skills. I also gained a deeper understanding of how NGOs operate with limited resources while managing research, partnerships, and events. Challenges like balancing multiple assignments and unfamiliar terminology taught me resilience and problem-solving. This experience impacted my career planning by showing me how my academic background could align with international cooperation and policy work. I am grateful to NTU’s OIP program, my supervisor, and the team for their support. This internship broadened my skills and inspired me to pursue further opportunities in global NGOs.
