Through this experience, I gained intensive hands-on training in a world-class energy storage research lab, where I learned how experiments are systematically designed and executed under a highly structured and demanding environment. The immersive, fast-paced setting significantly strengthened my technical capabilities and research discipline, while collaboration with international lab members enhanced my communication and teamwork skills. Beyond research, I also learned to adapt to practical aspects of living in Chicago, such as transportation safety and cost considerations, making this a well-rounded experience that combined academic growth with real-world adaptability.
