When I first applied for the Okinawa traineeship, my primary motivation was to explore how Okinawa develops practical models that go beyond tourism by integrating local revitalization with technology. After participating in the five-day program, I was able to observe these possibilities directly. During our on-site visits and direct interactions, I had numerous opportunities to ask questions, discuss ideas, and engage with practitioners. Reflecting on the entire Okinawa traineeship, I realize that my greatest gain was the expansion of my perspective and the development of a more holistic and pragmatic mindset. This study tour inspired me to approach future learning with a globally minded perspective.
