This summer internship in Prague was a once in a lifetime experience for me. Before it, I had spent eight months studying alone in Scotland, so moving again to Europe was hard emotionally. I missed my culture and felt lonely at first. But later, I enjoyed the lifestyle I dreamed of and made meaningful friendships. Working with the Czech-Taiwanese Business Chamber, I helped organize a 10-day NTU student tour and created videos for social media. It was intense but rewarding, and I learned a lot about Czech industries and history. At the Forum for Human Rights, I worked on research about forced labor, which taught me to ask for help and communicate clearly. Meeting political figures and attending conferences broadened my views. This internship helped me grow in confidence, learn to balance work and life, and understand what kind of work environment I want in the future. I’m very grateful for this opportunity.
