My time at Water Mirror pushed me to grow in many ways. The diversity of projects—from data analysis to legal review, event planning, and coordination—challenged different skills. Cross-cultural collaboration with the Japanese team taught me professionalism, attention to detail, and how to balance etiquette with concrete suggestions. Beyond completing projects, my mentor gave me valuable opportunities, such as attending the IVS Startup Conference, Osaka Expo events, and networking with Taiwanese professionals in Japan. These experiences expanded my network and industry insights, solidified my goal of working in Japan, and shaped my career plan: to begin in corporate strategy, then move into venture capital or private equity. This internship built practical skills and adaptability that will strongly support my future path.
