As a Business Development intern at ESGpedia, I was exposed to both post-sales delivery and sales development activities, which gave me a broader view of the full client journey. Coming from master’s research on corporate carbon management in Taiwan, I was eager to examine sustainability technology from the provider’s perspective. Participating across different stages—from organizing greenhouse gas data to pitching solutions to enterprise clients—felt deeply rewarding because it allowed me to connect academic theory with practical commercial operations. I developed a clearer understanding of how sustainability data, platform capabilities, business communication, and client requirements must align to create value. This hands-on role solidified my confidence in bridging technical ESG frameworks with client-facing strategy, strengthening my ambition to build a career at the intersection of sustainability and business development.
