Bachelor in Veterinary Medicine
Working with fellows from very different fields was surely another precious experience. Since we were divided in three different groups, I realised it was a good chance for me to practice how to guide a dissection on my own. I managed to explain the normal anatomical structure and physiological function of the organs we discovered, and we learned how to differentiate between normal tissue and the true lesions. The necropsy session helped me learn how to explain difficult words and concepts in my profession in an eaiser yet still accurate way for everyone to understand. Though the experience was truly informative and interesting, I couldn't help but wonder how feasible it would be to apply these methods in real-life situations. It is perhaps my responsibility to utilize every forensic skills and knowledge I learned and to share it with my colleagues. To me, the real journey has just begun now.
