Bachelor in Drama and Theatre
While my internship at Asia Centre in Bangkok, I had the opportunity to observe the operations of an international NGO focused on global governance and digital capacity-building. As a Drama and Theater student, I was curious about applying my background to complex policy areas. My responsibilities included communications, project coordination, and research support. I helped draft materials, organize project updates, and assist with the Asia Centre 10th Conference by compiling speaker profiles and coordinating schedules. Supporting the Digital Security Training program allowed me to learn about international capacity-building and stakeholder communication. I regularly liaised with colleagues across departments and external partners, which broadened my understanding of multicultural workplaces. My mentor, Karin Sunityo, gave constructive feedback that helped me develop organizational skills. The fast-paced NGO environment was challenging but improved my flexibility and resilience. I am grateful for this internship, which enhanced my professional skills and exposed me to international policy work.
