Through this program, I had the opportunity to spend this summer as an intern at Tokyo Electron (TEL) Dresden. Before coming to Germany, I was mainly looking forward to gaining practical experience in supply chain management within the semiconductor industry and applying what I had learned at university to a real working environment. However, after starting my internship, I realized that what I gained from this experience went far beyond professional knowledge. At the beginning, I was afraid of making mistakes and preferred to confirm everything before taking action. Later, I became more willing to think about a problem on my own first, try to find possible solutions, and then approach my colleagues with my own ideas. This experience taught me that an intern is not only someone who completes assigned tasks, but can also contribute to the team by observing carefully, asking questions, and sharing ideas.
