During my traineeship in the "Okinawa - Blue Economy and Tech Revitalization" program, I witnessed a model for combining "Blue" and "Green" economies to build a sustainable, tech-driven future. I learned that revitalization is not just about creating new infrastructure; it's about fostering a mindset of "open innovation." This experience taught me that revitalizing a region involves assembling many different pieces, including scientific excellence, entrepreneurial spirit, cultural pride, and international cooperation. I return to Taiwan with a renewed sense of responsibility. We are the custodians of the blue frontier, and the technologies we develop today must be as sustainable as the coral reefs surrounding us.
