One of the most lasting impressions from this entire journey was the deep connections established with students from Osaka University and Taiwanese professionals who have achieved career success on the island. Our candid conversations revealed that meaningful trust across cultures is nurtured not through grand gestures, but through the patient practice of traditional Japanese etiquette, attentive listening, and genuine communication. Listening to these Taiwanese seniors share how they successfully navigated the demanding Japanese corporate culture while maintaining their personal values was incredibly empowering. Their experiences prompted me to reconsider my own future career path, viewing it through a lens that transcends geographic boundaries and embraces global mobility. The seven immersive days on Awaji Island reshaped my perspective, illustrating how geographical remoteness and isolation can be transformed into a desirable competitive edge. I am eager to bring these insights back to Taiwan and share these positive strategies with my peers. The lessons I've learned carry a significant responsibility, serving as a commitment to help foster a brighter future for the places we cherish. Moving forward, I am committed to transforming these observations into tangible actions, dedicating my skills to the sustainable development, renewal, and empowerment of our communities.
