This internship pushed me out of the technical comfort zone I had built over four years of engineering study and into a commercial, document-heavy, relationship-driven business environment. I learned to tolerate ambiguity far better than I used to. I came into this internship from zero, with no prior exposure to trading, shipping, or Indonesian corporate culture, and I am leaving having gained more than I ever expected, not just in technical knowledge but in self-awareness. This internship took me from knowing nothing to genuinely understanding a business I now want to build a career in, and it taught me how to learn, adapt, and grow from my own mistakes along the way. I am proud of how far I have come, and even more excited about how much further there still is to go.
