Besides experiencing the culture and sightseeing of Japan for the first time, I gained information about multinational corporations and the management practices of century-old companies. This internship has enriched my understanding of Japanese culture and the workplace. This internship has been a dual learning experience, both intellectually and culturally. The company visits have given me a global perspective and insights into the industry; the cultural experiences have deepened my understanding of everyday Japanese society; and the interactions have led me to rethink my future career plans and development direction, given me a new perspective and has been a wonderful experience.
