Apart from gaining a comprehensive understanding of the mathematical and physical principles underlying various types of tomographic imaging, I also acquired valuable research-related skills, such as reading academic literature efficiently, designing engaging academic posters, and effectively structuring the content and pacing of poster presentations. For me, these academic soft skills represent an invaluable experience that has laid a solid foundation for my future master's studies in the US.
