Bachelor of Nursing
This traineeship was truly interdisciplinary. As a nursing student, I had initially wondered how conservation, forensics, and cultural studies would connect to my major. Yet through each activity, I discovered parallels between caring for human life and caring for the broader living world. The dissection taught me the precision needed in both medicine and forensics; observing wildlife revealed the importance of respecting life in all its forms; learning from the San people reminded me that health and survival are deeply tied to culture and community.
