Thanks NTU OIA and Water Mirror for giving us the priceless chance and leading us to gain a deeper understanding of Japan’s venture capital ecosystem and industrial environment. During the program, we visited so many successful corporation and listened to various of beautiful stories, from century-old enterprises like Shimbashi Tamakiya and Fukumitsuya, to lots of incredible startups like INFINIT8 and JP Universe. We engaged in many in-depth discussions and exchanges with the leaders of these companies, to learn not only professional knowledge, but the real-world experiences and challenges. We also visited international-class companies like List Sotheby’s International Realty and Rakuten Group Inc., and organizations fostering innovation like Tokyo Innovation Base, to gain a more comprehensive view of the whole ecosystem, and to have a more diverse learning.
