During this internship, we’ve done a variety of tasks assigned by different teams, for example because we’re from Asia, we were tasked with sourcing Asia- and Japan-based foundations and philanthropies that we may be able to collaborate with, and we also helped out a task from finance team, I learned how to use systems like Xero and Ezzybills from this task, we also collected some data from One Young World’s yearly impact report so that the organisation can have more data in the “impact library”, according to our manager Stefan, this helped them to build a bigger database and get a clearer overview. I can’t describe how grateful and lucky I am to work with these wonderful people and even be friends with them. Living in such a big city like London is not the easiest, but meeting them is one of the most precious memories in this whole internship journey.
